Promising but needs work

The creatures are cool and original unlike most Pokemon spinoff app games. That right there is what will hook me but I wont be playing till future updates.
The UI is screwy and unresponsive sometimes. Moving around is just dreadful. Item usage on the world map is just bothersome as it takes you out of the menus each time. Battle scenes are lacking in animation, and creatures should disappear or have different animation upon death. And my last concern is stat upgrading. Being able to manually increase stats is cool, but without descriptions of each its hard to understand what they do, namely the difference between atk and int.
Its one of those games where I wonder if the devs actually played it before releasing and charging money.
All in all, very promising, but needs more fluidity before recommending purchase.
